Transmog Illidari Shadow Light (Mog Madness 4)

Round 5 of the Mog Madness has an interesting challenge.  Use the Illidari Trophy Tabard to make an outfit.  You cant use a robe/skirt since you have to see the whole thing and green an purple varieties are accepted.

Now I had worked with that tabard in the past so I decided to add a bit of polish to an old love of mine, the Shadow Light Transmog set I made, thus I bring to you;

Transmog, Hero of the Light

For the most part I try and make transmog sets something that isnt too difficult to work on.  For this set though your going to have to work.

So I bring you the Hero of the Light!

That just screams paladin doesnt it?  Now lets look at how you get it.

Transmog, Argent Defender

Paladins have many very fine outfits to chose from.  Ill soon be touching on the Conquest gear from Northrend but I wanted to bring up the Savage gear first - mostly because I gathered it up because I thought it looked that awesome.  In fact I wore it into Cataclysm leveling :)

So I present to you the Argent Defender!

The forgotten armor - Death Knight (Aspirants of Icecrown)

I was wandering around Orgrimmar pondering a transmog for the Death Knight and I noticed something interested about the transmogs.  I went to Stormwind and observed for a bit and took a casual poll of a few friends and it seemed to conform my observations.  Virtually no one was wearing the Northrend gear.

Not really surprising I mean we were stuck wearing it for what felt like forever and it didnt have the best visual aesthetic most of the time.  Bit there are some easy to pick up sets that have a very cool and unique feel to them.  So I figured Id touch on each of the classes they sell for.  Factions too since the looks were another example of a bit of faction specific artwork.

Starting at the top we have the Horde Death Knight - Koltira's Conquest!

Sometimes I set out to find cool sets of gear and sometimes crazyrandomhappenstance drops it into my lap.  Id looked at the recolored sets apart but its the mixing of the shoulders in that makes it look better (to me).

Well I'm not one to sniff a gift horse so here is a great set for the Sunwalker that looks more in tune with the natural world as a priest of the sun (An'she) than most paladin sets.

Dabbling on working up a set for a friend of mine - a Blood Elf paladin.  Just a quick armor blend.

This will end up being a larger post because I have quite the passion for this character, her story, and how really fine I think her outfit goes together.

To the right we see the basic outfit.  I had already collected and used the recolored Judgement set but I knew with Transmog it would be a somewhat low hanging fruit 'everyone' would go for.  So with a bit of work I found different chest and legs and that added just the right difference to the outfit.  Often you can put different armor types on the outside of the body (hands, shoulders, feet) crossed by a belt and bring two different armor designs together.
