Transmog, Purple Monk

When working on my monk's tmog I decided I wanted to use the bare hands and feet

After discovering what I could only describe as a push up bra.

A friend encouraged me to use it in my look.  So Monalise this is for you.

The bare feet look is achieved by the Sandstalker Ankleguards picked up from Zerillis in Zul'Farrak in Tanaris.  He is a rare spawn so run in and check for him here then run out.




The pants are the Skulldugger's Leggings from normal mode (only) The Black Stalker in The Underbog.


In the pictured from in game Im wearing the Brown Belt of Precarious Balance from my monk quest but its just a fill in till I can get a Bandit Cinch or Scouting Belt for less than a king's ransom.

The Dark leather Shoulders are a crafted item that sound easy to get but since they are a drop pattern that requires an alchemy elixir also taught by a pattern drop they can be hard to find.

The bare hands look is achieved through the Rope-Grip Gloves one of several in cataclysm that look like bracers rather than gloves.  However their all quest rewards so some may have trouble getting them.  With their positioning the tmog set doesn't need any bracers since they cover the area nicely.

Im not entirely fond of cloaks but the Dreadshredder Cloak from the grudge match quest in Tanaris works well.

So that's it - oh right, I almost forgot.  The bra.  I mean armor.

Its real name is Nickwinkle's Harness Experiment.  It comes from a Blades Edge quest that the Alliance get.  Sorry Horde you have to swap to brown leather with the Insignia Chestguard to get the look.  Only Alli get purple.

So often a look will be perfect on one race and not look quite right on another.

The gloves are quite a bit bigger on any other race and their brown stands out more making it not work with the outfit any more.  So here is an alternative.

Dark leather Gloves (A leatherworker crafted item) give a nice fingerless glove look, and the black of the gloves is an added bonus if you plan to add the black cloak I mentioned earlier.

The Cabalist Bracers (a random drop item) match the footwear (or lack of0 a bit better and go well with the outfit.

The purple of the legs does come out a bit stronger but I dont think its too strong.
