Transmog, Baby Blue Delight

A friend of mine, Kylira, found some shoulders and asked me if its possible to make an outfit around it.  Its one I remembered from Wrath and failing to make an outfit for then so here is my current effort.

The set has many little differences you can do so I'll show off two different looks.  I'll start with the Moonguard version.

This outfit is less designed for practical killing of enemies than looking good.

The Lightning Infused Mantle comes from a Dungeon quest in the Halls of Lightning (Remember Cata reset them - if you ran them in Wrath you can again to get the reward).

The belt is the Ruthless Gladiator's Cord and costs 1650 honor.

The Robes of the Guardian Saint come from the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (Thats AQ 40) off Fankriss the Unyielding.

To show off some leg we need the Barbaric Loincloth, a level 11 BoE its best found on the AH though good luck finding it for a reasonable price these days.

The Stonecloth Boots are a level 30 BoE found on the AH and give a decent barefoot look.

The Runed Spell-Cuffs come from G'eras the Na'ru vendor in Shattrath for 182 JP.

Black Mageweave Gloves are found on the Ah or made by your local tailor.

The cloak is the Cloak of Whispering Shells from Hydromancer Thespia in normal and heroic Steam Vaults.

The helm comes  from 2 quests in the The Hinterlands, Stonetalon Mountains (Alli / Horde), and The Cape of Stranglethorn.

For alternate items;
The circlet has a few sources but the easiest is the Sea King's Crown for collecting 30 clam ground spawns for Ahlurglgr in Borean Tundra.

The gloves are the Hands of Power from Quartermaster Zigris in Blackrock Spire (The one who drops the Worg Pup now).

The Black Mageweave Leggings are made by a local Tailor.

Ringo's Blizzard Boots are a BoE from the Black Talon Wyrmguard in Blackwind Lair.  Remember if your trying to farm these kill 2/3 of the pack, loot, and if you don't get them drop combat or die to respawn the others.

Quite a bit of variety you can get.  Not as sexy on a man sadly.

As a final suggestion you can mix in a different robe to get a new feel to the outfit.

The Robes of the Exalted from Lord Aurius Rivendare in Stratholme make it a more respectable outfit.  To add a bit more color I used the Lunar Belt, a level 36 BoE, and the Moonsoul Crown, a level 26 Jewelcrafting peice.  Actually there are several circlets that share that look.

Oh I almost forgot.  Dreambinder is the weapon I have her holding.  Its from 25 man normal Ulduar.  I especially like how the green on it goes with the green gem on the pvp belt on the skimpy version of the outfit.

So mix and match to your hearts content and find what look is quite right for you.

Any way you cut it its going to end up lovely.

  1. This is a beautiful Transmog set, thanks for the info. On the boots, you could also use Enigmas Boots from AQ40. It's a grind, but it's an option too :)

  3. I use Vital Boots, which are nice for the barefoot effect and I also use, if you're pvp with 1h and offhand, the Spellfire longsword which is quite simple to farm.
